5 Blogging Tips Good Enough to Eat

Have you ever read something that was so full of useful information you wish you could just eat it up? I have.

I just read through Urs E. Gattiker’s (of Commetrics.com) article, 5 Steps Beyond Viral Marketing and it is so yummy that I had to pass it on. When you’ve read them, come back and tell me what you think and whether you feel it’s relevant information you can use.

Urs’ Awesome 5 Steps (these are all blogging-centric, and that’s why you should eat it up)

These are just summarized. Read the article for all of the good info.

1. “Focus on a targeted audience”

2. “Every language has different rules”

3. “Free traffic costs nothing” –> Memorize the info presented in tip #3!

4. “Increase traffic from referrer sites”

5. “Manage SEO quickly and correctly” –> Another you really need to soak in.

The kicker bonus that makes this all worth reading: Urs gives you links to twenty (20) lessons on mistakes you don’t want to make with your blog. These are all accessible right on his website and you don’t need to sign up or pay anything to see them. You will want to after you read some of them, though. Although Urs’ talks about corporate blogging, I know that most of you are not corporate bloggers, and still you will benefit from this advice.

OK. Go read. Then let me know what you think (and of course, let him know what you think, too).

Cheers,

Tia

I gonna beat the competition if i keep on reading this interesting blog thanks for great blogging tips Dear

LOL it IS a wonder how people have time for their businesses with all of the reading, but if you read just one blog post a day, with 10 minute maximum, you'd really learn a lot.

This confirms it. I need one day on the week where I just educate myself. There is SO much to read and think about, its a wonder people work their businesses. But I've been working on scheduling more often the things I do regularly (this is so not my personality to schedule things) and I know I can get this worked in too. Now I need to go check out this article you mention!
