Soulful Blogging: Interview with an Artist-Blogger, Jessica Schanberg

April 9, 2010 · 4 comments

Yesterday I got to spend some time interviewing blogger Jessica Schanberg of LemonstoLlamas.com about her blog, her inspiration, and her art. Jessica is a full-time graphic designer who has created this wonderful, inspiring space with LemonstoLlamas.com, which as you’ll learn in the interview has turned into a blog infused with creativity, thought, and Jessica’s personality.

My world is so often black and white, or I should say blog and white :) , that I love it when I can take time to sit with some tea and read something out there that doesn’t revolve around the topic of blogging. That’s one of the reasons I like Jessica’s blog. She’s very transparent and her honesty shows through her writing and drawings, and she possesses that great rare talent of visual+written artistry.

You can check out the interview, which is just 12.5 minutes long, below. You should also check out Jessica’s blog at LemonstoLlamas.com and her graphic design website at pixelpeony.com. If you’re on Twitter, you can reach Jessica @pixelpeony

Tia,

It was such a pleasure and an honor to be interviewed by you. It was good for me to think about all of the questions that you asked. It’s nice to reflect on why I’m blogging and how the whole journey started. Thanks again for this opportunity! I really appreciate it!

Best,
Jessica
