Is the new Twitter hot, or not? It’s no substitute for HootSuite, from what I can see, but it’s got some cool, cool things going on.
I did an analysis of it and listed 7 cool things about the new Twitter, along with 3 not-so-cool things, that you should check out on my new blog, Webbed Ink (also let me know what you think of Webbed Ink). BizChickBlogs isn’t going anywhere; it’s just that I’ve decided to turn what I’ve been doing freelance into a full-fledged business, focused on web content strategy.
Anyway, check out the new Twitter over at Webbed Ink (especially if you’re not able to use it yet – they’re rolling it out in stages for people to preview), and while you’re at it, check out the new blog, leave a comment - help me break it in, okay!!! Thanks!

It’s looking very clean and i like the color theme specially
I like it, I think it’s good how you can see followers and who you are following straight off the bat.
I think new Twitter looks hot enough but I am pretty sure whether it is functional enough. Thanks for the share!
The new Twitter looks hot enough but I am not sure whether it is functional enough. First impression: I kind of like it.
I share the same opinion as you. It looks Hot but function wise, it appears to be kinda slower than the previous interface. I prefer the old one for now especially the mobile version. Now that’s HOT! lol
All the new features of the Twitter are fine but what is more important that the site should have lesser down times as people are fed up of the fail whale.
The video looks interesting to me especially the video playing in the sidebar part of it.
Hi Tia, I just got new twitter interface today. May be they are implementing it in step by step phase. I really liked it and is much better than previous interface. Recommendation for new tweeps is cool, based on preferences and other stats like favorite topics tweeted etc. Will update later if I observed something exception.
I like it, though there aren’t many improvements to see.
I have heard that content is key. I have not started a tweet and I do not plan on it either. I feel like my time is spread a little thin already. I hope that it works well for you. You seem to have the nack for almost anything.
Ha! Thanks. I try.
Hi Tia,
I checked out the new twitter briefly, no analysis yet. I like the interface though, it seems more clean. Heading over to switch over now.
Ryan
Thanks, Ryan. Yeah, let me know what you think of it. It’s not perfect and not even all features are ported over yet, but for testing purposes it’s sufficient.
