Last January Lady Gaga was announced as Creative Director for photography giants Polaroid. She said of her new job,
“I am so proud to announce my new partnership with Polaroid as the creative director and inventor of speciality projects. The Haus of Gaga has been developing prototypes in the vein of fashion/technology/photography innovation, blending the iconic history of Polaroid and instant film with the digital era. Lifestyle, music, art, fashion: I am so excited to extend myself behind the scenes as a designer, and as my father puts it, finally have a real job.”

A year later and her range, the Grey Label has just been unveiled at International Consumer Electronics Show, not the usual type of geeky event you would expect to see Lady Gaga at but she jazzed up proceedings while showcasing her upcoming products. The Grey Label range includes sunglasses that double as a digital camera, a portable wireless printer for Bluetooth mobile phones and the new updated Polaroid instant camera.
I am particularly excited about the sunglasses/camera, which is pictured below and modelled by Gaga herself at the launch, she said of her creation,
“The glasses are very exciting because they are merging fashion and technology. We are creating something that’s innovative and also cultural.”
