Happy Sunday!
Last week was awesome – starting with Blogworld and then finishing with the social media launch of a new client. Going to Blogworld was very timely for me given the new client and that I will be holding a Facebook seminar in the middle of June – I came away from the conference with so many great ideas! I couldn’t have asked for a better week, except the portion of it that was spent traveling to and from New York (yikes).
This morning, I’m going to do something different and spotlight one of the great bloggers in the network. Then read on for a great story that we all should pass on.
First things first: Blogger Spotlight
Annemarie Cross
If you haven’t had a chance to read Annemarie Cross’ blog or follow her on Facebook or Twitter, I suggest doing so. She’s a successful businesswoman with a generous spirit, as she gives away so much great advice free of charge. Her coaching tips are solid, and I am grateful that she’s a part of bizchickblogs.
She’s one of the few bloggers that make it worthwhile to follow them everywhere. She also has a business podcast featuring interviews with people who have done or are doing incredible things with their business, and she used to hold Facebook chats that were really neat (Annemarie – do you still have Facebook chats?).
She was also very active in our One Question Series. If you like to watch videos, check hers out there!
Check out her blog at www.annemariecross.com. On Twitter, she is @annemariecoach and on Facebook, she is at http://www.facebook.com/AnnemarieCrossBranding.

Thanks for hanging with us, Annemarie and for being such a great example of a woman on the move.
Chocolate for Children
The word is spreading about a new business in the making called Chocolate for Children. The founder? A 12 year old girl named Megan Wegge who was diagnosed with liver cancer. She plans to launch Chocolate for Children as a way to raise money for pediatric cancer research. A great example a business sparked by passion, is it not? What’s most interesting is that according to recent news coverage of this story, Megan didn’t know that she had cancer when she first started making plans for this business.
An online news site, duluthnewstribute.com, published the story and I caught it on Twitter. I thought it might be a good idea to spotlight this story. Help pass it on by retweeting the story on the news site! If you would like to help fund this young lady’s venture, there are a couple of things you can do – check out the story for more details.
Its fantastic, in 12 years such a great idea. I wish her for success.
