Sorry, as you all can see, I am unfortunately not Oprah and members of the reading audience will not be getting one of these each! I so wish, though.
However! I AM giving away ONE of these things. Read below for details.
It’s June, and even though it isn’t quite summer, summer, summertime yet, you can never get too good of a headstart on the planning and buying.
Our focus in June is summer, sun, taking a break, and all things related. In view of that, I’ve put together seven of my favorite things for this summer. Enjoy them! If any of these are your favorites, too, let me know!
1. Old Navy Swimsuits & Accessories
I was an early fan of Old Navy and still am. Their prices cannot be beat for the little things like bikinis, bracelets, tank tops, and shorts. I always take a once-around the store right at the beginning of summer to snag a new swimsuit, because I guess I wear a common size and it sells out fast!
Old Navy’s prices are so low that you are better off just going to the store than buying online and (a) having to wait, and (b) paying shipping charges.

2. Neutrogena MoistureShine Lip Soother Lipgloss in Sparkle
Find it at drugstore.com (free shipping!) – Pictured below in Glimmer
I recently started wearing the MoistureShine Lip Soother by Neutrogena and really like it. A little goes a very long way, so one tube will last you beyond the summer (unless you secretly eat the stuff).

3. The Thank You Economy, by Gary Vaynerchuk
Read more at the official website. Buy. This. Book.
If you want practical social media advice from the horse’s mouth, this book is it. You’ll read true stories about social media successes and failures and why building relationships online is so powerful. It will be easy for you to figure out whether or not you’re doing it “right” after you get about halfway through the book.
I’ve taken TYE with me when my son goes to the park. For the summer, you can take it with you on your glorious summer vacations – the kind I will be dreaming of.

4. Finding Cheap Flights with Kayak
Use kayak.com to search all the ticketing sites and save.
There is really not much to say about this. It’s simple. Once I started using it, I never went back. Kayak searches not only the low-cost sites like Expedia, but it also searches the airlines’ very own websites, too. As you are probably aware now, buying tickets directly from the airlines is turning out to be cheaper than the sites that tack on extra fees.

5. euforia™ Thousand Layer Cake
I just discovered this recently; they are a new client of mine. This stuff is a-w-e-s-o-m-e. It was my first experience with thousand layer cake. I love the vanilla and could eat it all day, but the spice cake is really good, too.
The best part is that they come individually wrapped. Toss a few in your beach bag or picnic baskets. Eat soon, because they’re all-natural with no preservatives!
Check them out on Facebook and Twitter.

6. PureDKNY
This is NOT new this summer, but it is so yummy that I wear it any chance I get. It’s an annual fragrance; I think it can be worn year round, as opposed to say, my Elizabeth Arden Green Tea parfum which is really a spring fragrance that I wouldn’t wear any other time of year.
Spritz on some PureDKNY and watch the guys’ knees buckle. Apparently, vanilla scent is a dude-magnet (who’da thought?)
Buy it at Macy’s and get free shipping on orders over $50.

7. Foodzie Tasting Boxes
I was introduced to Foodzie through euforia. Foodzie hooks up foodies with tasting boxes filled with new food products by artisan merchants. Some of the food they send isn’t even on shelves in a story anywhere yet. Foodzie sends the “snack attack” boxes in the mail – you can order them every month and surprise yourself with a bunch of new snacks to try.
What a freaking nifty idea (the kind you’re like, “Why didn’t I think of that?). You can check out Foodzie.com and order one for June – or stay tuned and order July’s. You can also GIFT the Foodzie box to anyone, including bizchickblogs editors (hint hint).

So far I am loving LiveFyre. I believe it will grow on people. It is not as robust as Disqus yet, but is headed there. It is accomplishing what I desired, which is getting people to talk to one another. It truly does facilitate conversation in that way.
I am going to check out your Facebook page NOW!
Hey Tia, I just heard Mari Smith talking about Gary V earlier today and I plan to follow him on Twitter also. As you know I’m already following your Tweets and I’m a fan of your Page on Facebook.
