Guess so. Fall 2011 fashion trends are… interesting, to say the least. But chokers, really?

I wore chokers in 6th grade, and I’m pretty sure I was going through some odd identity crisis. After all, it was in 6th grade that I actually tried to get away with wearing a band-aid on my nose to cover up a zit.
So being reminded of my early middle school years is completely frightening to me.
I didn’t think I would find a single decent-looking choker to post here. However, Polyvore.com, once again, comes to the rescue, and shows that even if what’s on the runway happens to be scary, designers everywhere know how to create something wearable for everyday women. The thing about fashion trends is that the word trend is used pretty broadly, and it’s the interpretation of the trend that makes design fun and worthwhile.
Check out these great styles and then the not-so-great styles and let me know your opinions!

Hi Tia! Me too hates choker! It seems like somebody is dragging my neck but I now change my mind. I love Chokers You Couldn’t Bury Me In – those are really pretty and I can’t stand not to buy either one item of it.
@Mywritingworld Thanks, Fran!
@Red Kathy LOL I know there are probably a lot of people who are saying, “Hey! I have that choker!” or something. My friend said she loves chokers. I hate them. I do like how they look on the two right-side celebrity pics above, though. So maybe I will take a trip to Charming Charlie and just get one and be done with it.
Good morning Tia:
So now you are going to a chopping spree for the best looking choker necklaces. You have added good picutres hear and since I like choice I know you will be able to shop a good one for yourself that will suit you. Do it soon for a change of feeling good on a Friday or an evening out.
All the best
