A few weeks ago, the food blogging community was shaken to its core when one of their own tweeted “He’s gone. And my heart is shattered in a million pieces.” Jennifer Perillo, of In Jennie’s Kitchen had unexpectedly lost her husband to a fatal, sudden heart attack. Her community has now responded by sending comforting words, posts, and the largest movement is a fundraising via Bloggers without Borders.
Bloggers without Borders and Shauna Ahern of Gluten Free Girl, have set up #afundforjennie and every donation counts, be it $1, $5, $20 or $100. Jennie is now faced with healthcare issues, as well as every parents back to school expenses for her two little girls, so your donation will definitely help her! This is so sad and my heart breaks for Jennifer to have lost her husband so sudden and unexpectedly and with having young children at home. Heading over to read more about this cause, thank you for posting.
