Hi all! November is here, despite my many pleas and desperate attempts to stop it, the monthly calendar just wouldn’t slow down.
I wanted to have the Top Chick Bloggers and Women’s Blogs picks ready for you at the beginning of the week, but illness and sheer busyness outside of the blog has kept me away from it. I also have yet to change over the monthly theme and choose the featured contributor. I want you to know that bizchickblogs.com is a top priority for me, and that I plan to get to everything as soon as I can.
Attitude of Gratitude In Spite of Craziness
The world has gone crazy. Okay, not really, but watching the news over the past few days has reminded me that we live in volatile times and that we need to carry an attitude of gratitude and blessing wherever we go.
Peaceful protests are turning ugly, people are floating around documents advising when “to shoot a cop,” infants are mysteriously taken from their cribs, and teenagers are dropping shopping carts on the heads of total strangers underneath. In addition, it seems that every new show on TV simply highlights the insanity rather than encourages ideas of whole and happy families, fidelity, trust, and hope.
As we head into the end of the harvest and beginning of the holiday season, I choose to be grateful. Something my son is learning in his church class is to be thankful. We as adults need to remember to be thankful, too. So that’s what we’ll be talking about in November.
Bear with me through upcoming changes at bizchickblogs.com. It’s all for the best!
Cheers,
Tia
Hope you will get well soon Tia!
Hope you’re feeling better soon, Tia. The world does seem to be going crazy around us, but there’s much to be thankful for in the midst of all the craziness.
Tia, I have the answer… Chicken soup for you and a healthy dose of “love one another” for the rest of the world! Get well my friend.
Get well soon!!
Get well and be sure that all your readers will stay here and will wait for you!
Get well soon Tia. Health is very important. I agree, we should be thankful for all the blessings that we received. Everything happens for a reason. Robert Benwell
Tia – my darling – if I can add some of your juggling balls mine, please let me know! CALL ME!
Get better, health and family are most important.
Hang in there, Tia — we’re sending positive vibes your way!
I always use the phrase, “Life strikes”. And it usually strikes at the least opportune moments, doesn’t it? Sorry to hear about your illness. I recently spent nine days cuddled up with the flu and wasn’t able to knock out even my highest priorities.
No matter what our lives entail …
The world will keep spinning on its axis. LOL
Tia,
We aren’t going anywhere. Get well and come back strong!
I have been sick also. So probably like you been watching too much TV while in bed. Unfortunately, I have been watching the news. Usually, I avoid it so I rarely hear all the bad stuff going on around me. But this morning I did hear about the couple hundred people rioting in Oakland (I live in the Bay Area). How sad that they believe they need to get to that point to make a statement. And really, we just see them hurting good businesses so their cause hits def ears and blind eyes.
I just keep wondering when will we, as a nation, hit that rock bottom to turn ourselves around??

Hi Tia,
Some of the things you’ve mentioned that’s happening, I didn’t know. It’s really crazy out here and in times like these all we do is be grateful and pray that we don’t lose it ourselves in the midst of the craziness.
An attitude of gratitude goes a long way.
Get better and I’m looking forward to seeing the changes.
